Memphis and its downtown experienced an impressive economic revival after 1977 with the coming together of people of different backgrounds who helped spark the turnaround. Many photos and videos of people, subjects and events (from antebellum Memphis, through the turbulent 1960s, and during the revival of the Memphis economy in the late 70s and 80s) will be featured in the new documentary REBIRTH ON THE RIVER.
