Memphis also is the Home Of The Blues and The Birthplace of Rock and Roll and there is no denying that because Memphis is the home of Sun Records and the recording place of the King himself Elvis Presley. The individuals involved in the making of such hits as Blue Suede Shoes, Love Me Tender, Hound Dog, In The Ghetto, Jailhouse Rock and All Shook Up not only, made good music, they established an American musical art form. Such notables as Charlie Rich, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash would also record hits at Sun Studios.
