Memphis in May helped to rebirth downtown after 1968 and became a cultural icon.

Ted Townsend (Chamber CEO) and MIM and Revival Memphis founder Lyman Aldrich display the 1977 MIM poster honoring Japan. Japan is still a giant Mid-South business partner — proof that Memphis continues to be important.
